People · Attendance & Leave

Attendance that fills the timesheet, instead of contradicting it.

Included from Starter upward.

Time is entered twice — once for HR and once for the client — from memory, on a Friday afternoon. The two never match, and the billable number is the one that was guessed.

The clock, showing time at the desk, idle minutes and what is running

What it does

Hours, leave and who is actually in today.

  1. 01

A clock that writes the timesheet

Say what you are about to do, and when you stop the time lands on the timesheet by itself. Nothing is typed in from memory a week later.

  2. 02

    Idle minutes, and nothing else

The workspace can record minutes with no keyboard or mouse. Never what was typed, never which window was open — and the person can see their own figures on the same screen.

  3. 03

    Leave with real balances

Casual, sick, earned and loss-of-pay are seeded on day one, so a new workspace can actually apply for leave.

  4. 04

    The floor

Who is in, who is on leave, who is late — for the people whose scope reaches them, and only them.

For example

Friday afternoon, and nobody is reconstructing the week

  1. 1Devika starts her clock on Monday and says what she is about to do.
  2. 2When she stops, the time lands on her timesheet against P-ACME — not typed in from memory on Friday.
  3. 3The workspace records her idle minutes: 4m with no keyboard or mouse. Never what she typed, never which window.
  4. 4She can see her own figures on the same screen that records them.
  5. 5Her manager sees the floor: who is in, who is on leave, who is late — for the people their scope reaches.

The hours on the invoice, the hours on the payslip and the hours on the utilisation report are the same rows.

How it runs

In, through, out

Input

Somebody clocks on

Process

Hours land against a project and a task

Output

Utilisation, payroll and the invoice all read the same hours

Billable hours stop being a monthly reconstruction. The delivery dashboard reads the same rows the payslip does.
